Caladium Editions
Molly Briggs and Walter Wilson founded Caladium Editions in 2007 to publish limited editions by emerging and mid-career visual artists. The press specializes in traditional copper plate intaglio print methods, with variations in chine colle, collage, and monotype. Master printer Molly Briggs holds M.F.A. in printmaking from the Department of Art Theory and Practice at Northwestern University. She trained by printing for Tony Fitzpatrick's Big Cat Press in Chicago and for Susan Hover Oehme at Riverhouse Editions at Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Walter Wilson holds a B.F.A. from the School of the Art Institute, Chicago, where he studied sculpture, drawing, and printmaking. Caladium Editions is located in a old house in Champaign, Illinois. In addition to publishing, the press occasionally produces contract prints.
