    The new painting Way In: BIF Landscape is now on view to the public in the permanent collection of the College of Business at the University of Illinois.   • CHROMA EXPLODA opens Friday, September 6

    The exhibition features recent paintings by Molly Briggs, Chris Kahler, Martina Nehrling, Renee Robbins and Jackie Tileston. Assistant Professor of Art Justin Henry Miller curated the show, which runs through September 26 in the River Campus Gallery at Southeast Missouri State University at Cape Girardeau.

  • VORTEX of COLOR on view now at Metropolitan Capital Bank, Chicago

    Vortex of Color, featuring works by Molly Briggs, Anna Joelsdottir, Martina Nehrling and Jackie Tileston, opened July 17 as part of Metropolitan Capital Bank's series, Art Works Chicago: A Progressive Corporate Exhibition of Chicago Artists. Visit the exhibition and explore the historic Tree Studios at 9 East Ontario through mid-October.

  • CAA 2014

    Molly will present the paper, "Seeing Through Chicago's West Parks: Panorama and Landscape Performance," in the conference session Museums in Disguise: Visual Art and Performance in the Early National United States, moderated by Kim Beil of the University of California at Santa Cruz. The 2014 College Art Association Conference will be held February 12-15 in Chicago.

    Molly Briggs received the 2013 Provost's Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
